I loved how overall, this was a small toaster but it still fit bagels easily. It takes much less counter space than many toasters yet has the capacity like its bigger siblings.

I was pleased when my expensive, German, virtually useless toaster died so I could get this one without guilt. Toasts bread evenly, which is all I ever wanted a toaster to do. Lesson learned.

I have a hamilton beach toaster that i just bought,not from amazon from chinamart aka wallmart number 22604R and i wanted to let everyone no this toaser is total junk if you put a bagel in this toaster the spring is so weak that it will not pop up the bagle fire HAZARD total junk hamilton beach has recalled "482,000 toasters world wide",and thats just there toaster line many many more recalls on there other products some starting fires, BEWARE GO TO THERE WEB SITE AND HIT RECALLS.

This toaster does what it is supposed to do, toasts bread of all thicknesses, evenly on both sides, even when the bread is frozen. It is easy to operate, and very consistent. Previously I had an expensive super whiz-bang toaster from a fancy European manufacturer with all kinds of fancy controls and it produced the worst toast ever. This one, at a quarter of the price, is far superior. I love it!
